Marie Martineau opened Parkway Photography of Blaine, in Minnesota in 1985. In following years she has received State, Regional and National Awards for wedding portraits and albums. In 1988, Marie became the second woman in the state of Minnesota and the 20th in the nation to earn the Certified Professional Photographer degree from the Professional Photographers of America. In 1989 she moved with her family to Honolulu. Marie established Timeless Memories Photography in 1993 and has continued to win awards for her photography.  In 1999 she earned an Associate Fellowship Degree in Photography from The Professional Photographers of Washington. In 2006 she earned her Fellow Degree.

Every year she makes it a point to attend National Schools and seminars to update her photographic education. There is always something new to learn. Marie is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the Professional Photographers of Washington of which she served as the 2007 President.

On January 13, 2009  Marie was awarded the Photographic Craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America. This degree is awarded in recognition of service to the profession as a teacher, author or mentor. Marie is the only Photographer south of Pierce County to hold this degree.

This year Marie has been elected into the prestigious position of PPA National Counsilor
